BBC Children in Need, Shepherds Bush Empire, Wogan, Laughs in the Park and Barlow
Been a while since my last update here – been a bit manic in Barnsey World ™ . Just a couple of things to tell you about, so here goes (I’ll be brief and try not to bore you…)
BBC Children in Need – A Night of Spectacular Comedy, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Mon 14 November
Tickets are available for this event, for a wonderful cause here and the lineup also includes: Miles Jupp, Doc Brown, Josh Widdicombe, Joe Lycett, The Horne Section, Gareth Richards, 2 Episodes of Mash and Jason Cook. I am VERY excited.
Last Sunday, I was lucky enough to appear on Weekend Wogan, also in aid of Children in Need, live from the Savoy Theatre. The guest list was stellar, including Lee Mead, Joss Stone, Englebert Humperdinck and Gary bloomin’ Barlow (yes, he IS that hot in the flesh…). It was a great experience, and very surreal being interviewed by Sir Terry himself. The show is available to listen to for a couple more days on BBC iPlayer here.
In this busy week, I also made my TV stand-up debut. Back in July, I took part in the Laughs in the Park festival which was headlined by Ross Noble, Eddie Izzard and Tommy Tiernan. It was broadcast last weekend on BBC2, and you can watch it on iPlayer here
That’ll do for now I think, keep well
